Gravity Universe is a multiplayer online game that takes you through the cosmic journey from
the Big Bang to the formation of black holes, experiencing the laws of gravity and mass.
Collect scattered cosmic dust after the Big Bang, grow your planet, compete with other players,
and evolve into the ultimate existence - a black hole.
This game is designed based on actual gravitational physics, requiring strategic thinking and
quick decision-making. Progress through 20 stages of evolution to become the master of the universe.
💡 Game Objective
Collect cosmic dust, balance elements, and evolve from Dust Planet → Medium Planet → Large Planet →

Game Mechanics
Gravity Universe is a gravity-based game. Higher mass widens your pull range.
Move speed falls with evolution stage — about 50% at stage 19 (Comet can boost temporarily).
Collecting Cosmic Dust: Automatically absorbed when you get close
Gravitational Range: More mass attracts dust from a wider area
Core element: Chosen once at start. Keep its ratio within 45–55%; outside this range, the game tells you which dust to collect and stage-up is held.
Torus Universe: Reaching the edge warps you to the opposite side; the screen shows one cell of a 10×10 grid
⚠️ Caution
Players with greater mass can steal your dust! Always stay alert and move strategically.
🌟 Evolution (stages 0–19)
Stage = floor(total mass ÷ 500), max 19 (black hole). Mass drops can lower your stage.
Stage-up also requires core element ratio ≥ 50%.
Dust Planet (0–4)
Mass: 0–2,499
Features: Small and fast starting stage.
Strategy: Collect dust aggressively.
Medium Planet (5–7)
Mass: 2,500–3,999
Features: Gravity range expands.
Strategy: Avoid collisions with much larger players.
Large Planet (8–10)
Mass: 4,000–5,499
Features: Stronger in steals.
Strategy: Hold position while growing.
Star (11–15)
Mass: 5,500–7,999
Features: Slower movement.
Strategy: Use items and wormholes for mobility.
Supernova (16–18)
Mass: 8,000–9,499
Features: Just before black hole.
Strategy: Protect mass and core ratio.
Black Hole (19)
Mass: 9,500+
Features: Final stage.
Reward: First clear may be listed in the Hall of Fame (V).
💡 Satellites & core
Every 50 dust of the same element creates one satellite. Losing mass can reduce satellites.
Stage-up needs total mass and a core ratio within 45–55%.
🧭 Major ascension expeditions
Stages 4, 8, 12, 16, and 19 require an ascension mission after meeting mass and core-ratio requirements.
Missions use neutral exploration, ordered foreign-element expeditions, or combat with a different core element.
Combat missions also offer a neutral-exploration route when no opponents are online.
Elements & Dust
Collect all four elements — they all add to mass. Your chosen core element is your identity.
In near-equal mass fights (±15%), affinity Water→Fire→Air→Earth→Water scales steals
(advantage ×1.25, disadvantage ×0.75).
✨ Core-element item traits
Range, duration, and cost stay the same; only effect strength changes.
Fire controls space with Gravity Well (1.5×); Water escapes with Antigravity (1.5×) and Comet (6×);
Air chases with Comet (7.5×); Earth hits hardest with Mass Bomb (1.5×).
Gravity Wave has equal strength for all elements.
Fire
Shape: Red triangle (#ff6b6b)
Trait: Zone control — Gravity Well 1.5×, Mass Bomb 1.2×
Near-equal mass (±15%): core affinity multiplies steal amount.
Gravity Wave (G): lighter player can counter-steal once from a heavier foe (min 5 per type protected).
Mass Bomb (B) destruction also keeps min 5 per type on the victim.
🎁 Special Items
Special items that provide unique abilities spawn randomly throughout the game world.
Strategic use of these items can give you a significant advantage.
Antigravity (A)
For about 3s, pushes nearby dust, items, and other players
Useful for escape and shoving pursuers
Range is similar to your normal gravity radius
Comet (C)
Move speed ×5 for 3 seconds
Collect dust quickly or escape danger
Especially useful when evolution has slowed you down
Gravity Wave (G)
Lasts about 3 seconds, cooldown about 3 seconds
Strongly pulls cosmic dust inside its radius
On collision, can counter-steal once from a heavier player
Counter-steal keeps at least 5 per element type on the victim
Mass Bomb (B)
Costs 20 mass (need at least 20) — sacrifice yourself to strike
Destroys cosmic dust in range (does not push it)
Enemy planets (different core element) lose 2× the mass you spent (destroyed, not stolen; min 5 per type kept)
Gravity Well (F)
Places a 5s gravity field at your position
Pulls dust hard (and other players lightly) into the well
Cooldown about 4 seconds
Wormhole
Touch to teleport to a random map location
Not stored in inventory
About 50 in the universe (life ~6s, then respawn)
Antimatter Planet (hazard)
Dangerous body with satellites orbiting in the opposite direction (20 in the universe)
On player collision: a % of your mass is destroyed, then the antimatter planet vanishes
Population cycles with universe time: +1/24 of base every 3600y (2× at 86400y), then −1/42 every 3600y back to base
Dust touching it is destroyed; the antimatter planet itself does not change
Not stored in inventory — no hotkey
⚠️ Item tip
Use inventory items with A / C / G / B / F. Wormholes and antimatter planets are map contacts, not hotkeys.
🎯 Advanced Strategy & Tips
Early Game Strategy (Stage 0-4)
Maximize your fast movement speed to actively collect dust
Avoid collisions with other players and grow in safe areas
Collect all 4 elements evenly to maintain balance
Prioritize acquiring Comet items to increase collection speed
Mid Game Strategy (Stage 5-14)
Play at edges rather than center as gravitational range expands
Use mass advantage carefully when colliding with smaller players
Strategically use Antigravity and Gravity Wave for protection
Avoid direct confrontations with similarly-sized players
Plan routes ahead as movement speed decreases
Late Game Strategy (Stage 15-19)
You're now powerful - play aggressively
Steal dust from smaller players for rapid growth
Prioritize safety as Black Hole achievement approaches
Maintain distance from other powerful players
Keep Wormhole ready for emergency escape routes
Element Collection Strategy
💡 Mass & core
All four elements add to mass (~+1 stage per 500). Keep core ratio within 45–55% to stage up.
In near-equal PvP, core affinity (Water→Fire→Air→Earth→Water) matters.
Positioning Strategy
Edges: Easy escape and fast movement via torus effect
Center: More dust but higher risk. Recommended only when strong
Corners: Predictable routes favorable for dust collection
Player vs Player Strategy
Check whether you are heavier before engaging
With similar mass, mind core affinity and avoid reckless head-ons
If losing, use Gravity Wave (G), Comet (C), or a wormhole to create distance
Only chase when you have a clear mass advantage
❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How long does it take to become a Black Hole?
A: It varies a lot by skill, other players, and item luck.
The goal is roughly 9,500 mass (stage 19). There is no guaranteed clear time.
Q: How do I prevent my dust from being stolen?
A: 1) Stay away from much heavier players. 2) Use Gravity Wave for a one-shot counter-steal.
3) Escape with Comet or a wormhole. 4) Press S to stop and reduce accidental collisions.
Q: I'm too slow. What should I do?
A: Base move speed drops as your evolution stage rises (about 50% at stage 19).
Use Comet (5× for 3s) or plan shorter travel routes.
Q: Isn't it better to collect only one element?
A: All four add to mass, but you must keep your core ratio to stage up.
Near-equal collisions (±15%) apply affinity Water→Fire→Air→Earth→Water.
Satellites spawn every 50 dust of the same element.
Q: I can't see other players.
A: Check if you're properly connected to the server. During low-traffic times, you
might play alone. Check the connection status at the top right of the screen.
Q: Is my progress saved?
A: Yes! Progress is automatically saved when you log in with an account.
You can continue from your saved stage when you reconnect later.
Q: What happens when I become a Black Hole?
A: Reaching stage 19 (about 9,500+ mass) is the final evolution.
The first clear may be listed in the in-game Hall of Fame (press V).
Q: Can I play on mobile?
A: Yes on narrow screens with on-screen joystick and action buttons.
Desktop Chrome is also supported.
Q: The game is too difficult!
A: It may feel challenging at first, but you'll get used to it quickly after a few plays.
Refer to the early game strategy in this guide and set small goals (stage 5, 10) to progress gradually.
You can practice without pressure using a test account.
🔬 Real Space Science
Gravity Universe is an entertaining game, but it's designed based on actual space physics principles.
Learn about the mysteries of the universe while playing!
Law of Gravity
According to Newton's law of universal gravitation, all objects attract each other proportional to their mass.
In the game, greater mass allows you to attract dust from a wider range.
Planet Formation
In the actual universe, planets form when dust and gas clump together through gravity.
Initially, small planetesimals collide and merge, gradually growing larger and developing
stronger gravity that attracts more material.
Stellar Evolution
When mass becomes sufficient, central pressure and temperature rise, initiating nuclear fusion
and giving birth to a star. In the game, stage 15 and above represents this phase.
Supernova and Black Holes
Massive stars end their lives in supernova explosions. If the remaining core is sufficiently heavy,
gravity becomes so strong that even light cannot escape, forming a black hole.
Black holes are the most extreme gravitational objects in the universe.
Torus Universe
The game's torus (donut-shaped) universe is one of the possible universe shapes proposed in some
cosmological theories. It represents a connected space without boundaries.
